Apr 16, 2010· My house is on a well and I replaced the pressure gauge today. I adjusted the on and off pressure to 40 and 60 like the pressure switch said. That helped some because it was coming on at 38 and shutting off at 50 psi. The house has a pressure regulator on the outside that can be adjusted between 25 and 75 psi. I adjusted that in small increments and it helped the inside pressure a little.
